Go ahead and ban me then, Twisty, and eat my ass while yer at it

Says Twisty:

“To those of you who are considering leaving a comment on this post that has anything to do with the trans “debate”: if you do I will ban you forever”

Ooh! See if I give a flying fuck if Twisty wants to exclude me from the groupthink cafe. I don’t care to deal with disingenuous straw arguments like this one:

Jesus in a jetpack. What was I thinking, posting wild fantasies like “transpersons are human beings” and then going off butt-dancing?

…anyway. I get enough of that shit from MRAs and Nice Guys. I challenge Twisty and anyone else to cite a source as evidence that any of us transquestioners have stated that M2Ts are not human beings. I have in fact stated my position that M2Ts are human beings with full human rights here, and I will not be called a hater, a moron, or a creep for arguing against transcolonisation of women. Bonerkiller has a couple of excellent posts up about this here. Transquestioners do recognise the humanity of M2Ts and frankly it’s a fucking joke that Twisty would attempt to misrepresent us and construct us as humanity-deniers. A fucking joke.

If Twisty does not want to deal with transquestioners then she should state this clearly. Applying a blanket label such as “haters” is deceitful and plain fucking gutless. Denying the theoretical basis of transquestioning, bases which have often informed posts at IBTP, is moronic.

And spelling corner with a K is in breach of her own racist and classist policy regarding impeccable use of the language of Patriarchy.

  1. This is disappointing – none of the comments in there even suggested anything about harming trans people are saying they’re “not humans” or implying anything derogatory! What is so horrible about women being pissed off with being called “cis” without permission? Seriously? The fact that she banned you is really something else. It seems so hypocritical to me, that she would ban her readers (who are female) for comments that don’t reflect her opinions? Also, inquiring about the possibility of overhauling radical lesbian spaces or women-only spaces is not something “transphobic” or inflammatory.

  2. I totally agree, Boner. For the record, I am not yet banned, not to my knowledge, but she has made it clear that I would be if I were to refer to trans in the thread that I’ve linked to.

  3. This and not approving my comment for calling out Alan Brain’s bullshit holocaust analogy (seeing as you know, I’ve had family who died in the holocaust and my grandfather survived it, that shit isn’t so funny to me.)

I am still so disappointed we are having to waste so much of our time and energy on men. Again. Just for something fucking different.

  4. It is all very WTF?!
Twisty herself has nooooo problem throwing ‘haters’ (hatas [sic]) at us, in the thread I think we were called ‘transphobic’. Sure, there is a lot of name-calling going on in this debate, but IT IS VERY ONE-SIDED – all of it coming from the pro-trans camp.

We actually have bent over backwards to acknowledge that trans are human too, and have acknowledged the sexism M2Ts get when they appear to be women, or the homophobia they get when they don’t quite pass as a woman. However, when we refuse to suck the metaphoric eunuch dick of trans, we are labelled ‘haters’ and ‘twanzphobic’. Fuck that noise.

Is the trans ideology so damn fragile that it cannot take any criticism?
Why is it so important to shout-down and shut-up radfems that are critical of the trans and trans politics?

  5. You go Linda!!

Twisty is living proof that the pomo snake eats not only its own tail, but the brains of lazy-thinking internet “feminists” and their sycophantic followers.

She followed that snake down its hole and she can’t find a way out, so she just has to flail about while it snacks on her last bit of conscious thought. A memorial service is in order I believe.

    • No disrespect of real snakes intended. They do take care of themselves first and foremost, though. Something to be admired in the real ones. The metaphorical ones are just as tenacious, but there’s nothing there to admire.

  6. Speaking of snakes, the trans thing is very much like shedding the outer skin, in the belief that shedding the outer turns one into something new.

Well, a snake that has shed its old skin, just becomes a snake with a newer skin.
    It is still a snake.

I ask myself that every day… You would think that someone as bright and articulate as Twisty would be able to coherently explain why the desire to be recognized as any gender falls under the category of “human rights”, but no. They literally can not explain that or any other discreptancy even after all this time.

  8. Yeah, the “human rights” stuff is disingenuous to the people around the world who actually have little or no human rights. And it is the one argument that they use that really gets my back up.

The ‘best’ argument they have come up with is “because I say so”. The kind of ‘argument’ or reason a three year old relies on.

Probably because their entire ideology is a big stinky pile of poo that makes no logical sense when extrapolated to conclusion.

The best bit of illogic they have going is “we are soooo edgy, we transcend ‘gender’ [roles] by … just copying the sterotypes of the other ‘gender’ [masculine/feminine appearance/roles]“. *whatevs, do you even listen to yourselves?*
